Homemade Oatmeal Cake!

Oatmeal Cakes - Very easy to make and they taste wonderful!

In a roasting pan of size 40x35 cm
72 pieces, and they are easy to freeze down!
250 g butter
4 ½ cups oatmeal
2 ½ tbsp plain flour
3 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
5 tsp vanilla sugar
5 tbsp golden syrup

To the top use: 
200 g of nougat

Heat the oven to 175 degrees C hot air

Melt the butter slowly in a pan. Meanwhile, it melts you mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, as it is difficult to mix properly in the pan afterwards, if it is not mixed in advance. When the butter has melted, turn off the heat, and then you mix all the dry ingredients into the pot, and stir until everything is well mixed.
Cover the baking tray with baking paper and spread the mixture out now on the entire plate.
Still in the oven for about 15 minutes. Let the cake cool a bit. Then you take a cheese slicer or so, and start cutting your nougat into small flat bits, and cover the surface. Cut in 8x9, then you have 72 pcs delicious cakes!
