Homemade Pineappel Sorbet


Hello "Out there"
Today the recipe was a lovely refreshing pineapple sorbet! It was super easy to make, and it tasted heavenly! It can be made both with ripe fresh pineapple and pineapple juice. I made it with juice, because it was what we had in the house!



Recipe:
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 liter of pineapple juice

You may add 2-4 teaspoons lemon juice to get it more fresh!

Method:
Heat the sugar and water in a saucepan until it begins to boil. Let then the thin syrup cool down in the fridge for 2-4 hours and then mix with the juice. Put the mixture into some boxes and in the freezer for 6-8 hours. Then you have a nice fresh pineapple sorbet!

If you choose to use fresh pineapple, use 2 whole pineapples and double up the syrup.
