Filo Triangles

This dish is a great appetizer! Its so easy, and it tastes great!

12 pieces
Recipe:
250 g of beef
120 g filo pastry (similar to a pack of 2 rolls)
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
½ teaspoon sweet chili
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup broth
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
pepper
1 egg
1/2 package piquant cheese (a pack of cream cheese with herbs, red pepper, onions and garlic)
sesame seeds

Method:
Turn oven - 170 degrees C, hot air

Chop the onion and garlic, and sauté in the pan. Add the meat, and when it is cooked through then add tomato paste, broth, chili and salt. After a few minutes you add the flour and stir well round, season with salt and pepper. 5 minutes later you have a thick and delicious "meat sauce".

Now for the filo pastry:
The package I had was with 2 rolls. Those I packed out, then I stood with 4 flat filo pastry plates. each plate was folded 2 places. Here I cut over, so I had a total of 12 elongated filo pastry plates.
Place a dollop of piquant cheese in the upper left corner along with a dollop of meat sauce.grab the corner (but beware of the dough is very fragile and dries out quickly, so either cover the dough you are not using with tinfoil or be quick to fold!) And fold diagonally down so you can see the size of the triangle you end up with. Take hold of the new corner (lower left corner) and fold it diagonally up. A total of about 5-6 times. Sometimes I was lucky to fold exactly so there was no dough finally in the end, other times there were are few centimeters dough in the end, I brush with eggs and bent over and closed the triangle. Now you have a complete triangle and this you repeat 11 times more. If you are in doubt about my explanation you can probably find a "how to fold" on youtube or something!

You now place the triangles on a baking sheet and brush the triangles with egg on top, and then a little sesame seeds on top, which gives a delicious taste after a trip in the oven. Now They are  ready to go in the oven for about 10 minutes or until they start to become golden brown around the edges! You now have 12 delicious triangles!

Bon Appetit!
