Lovely Chocolate Pie

I decided to make a delicious chocolate tart. I've never tasted one that was as good as this. Dark and rich chocolate ganache, and with a delicious pastry with peanuts! I used the book "chocolate" by Claus Meyer as inspiration, But I have not followed the recipe, I followed my own. The Chocolate pie is very dark, but this also makes the ganache sits nice, so it looks good when it is served. It would be good with vanilla ice cream or cream.

For 8-10 people
 240 g butter, soft
160 g of icing sugar
 2 medium eggs
The grains of a ½ vanilla pod
 450-500 g wheat flour
 1 tsp. salt
20 g peanuts unsalted (chopped so fine that they can go through a sieve)

350 g dark chocolate (70%)
2 cups whipping cream (38%)
60 g of honey

turn the oven to 180 degrees C
Mix butter, 200 g flour, icing sugar and vanilla together. Then add the salt, the chopped peanuts, eggs and 250 grams of flour. Mix everything well together. Put the dough in the fridge for half an hour, and get ready to roll. The last 50 g flour is using to roll out the dough. Roll out the dough 3 mm thick and place in a pie dish (which you have smeared with butter). Cover the dough with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees C hot air. Take the pie from the oven and take the foil off and put the dough in the oven for 10-15 minutes again, to give it a nice golden color.

Then the ganachen. Place a saucepan over and pour cream, honey and chocolate in. Let it melt over medium heat, making sure to stir. When it's all melted, and got a nice soft texture pour the ganachen in the pie shape, where the beautiful golden pie bottom is in. Cool the pie in the refrigerator for 6 hours. Then you have a delicious chocolate pie that is ready to be served!

can be served with vanilla ice cream or cream.

Bon appetite
