Mashed Potato Squares With Butter, Chili And Paprika



Hello out there!
I wanted to try something new and different from my other recipes. It tasted GREAT!


4-6 people
Recipe:
1.5 kg of potatoes
2-3 tsp of paprika
1 tsp of sweet chilli
30 g of butter
½-1 cup of milk
salt

On the top:
1 tsp of sweet chilli
1-2 tsp of paprika
50-75 g of melted butter
salt

Method:
Boil the potatoes. Blend them together with paprika, chili, butter and ½ cup of milk, maybe a little more milk if it is not "smooth" enough and season with salt, possibly more chilli and paprika!

Heat the oven to 180 degrees C hot air or 200 degrees C normal oven.

Get it into a piping bag, baking paper on a baking sheet and spray so some blobs on the paper about 20 or so, you will need 2 baking sheets. Melt the 50-75 g of butter and mix chili and paprika in. Brush the mixture over the potato blobs or whatever you will call them! sprinkle them well with salt.
Into the oven for 30-40 minutes, after 10 minutes the blobs should start to flow a little out at reach each other. When they are golden and crisp take them out and cut into small squares that would be about 40 squares in total.

Serve with a delicious tomato sauce, Italian meatballs and a little grated parmesan over!
