Falafelburger - Delicious!


Finally I have a new computer and I am ready for some foodblogging! so here is a recipe for a delicious falafelburger. I have made the falafels before, but now I want to show you that you can make them for burgers too! So take a look here!

6-8 people
400 g of dry chickpeas
2 bunch of parsley
4 ½ teaspoon of salt
The juice from half a lemon
4 eggs
3 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of coriander
½ teaspoon of sweet chilli
4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
2 onions
8 cloves of garlic

Let the chickpeas to soak for 12 hours in some water. Then mix all ingredients together in a bowl and give the mixture a good trip with a hand blender! Wops, a delicious mix!

But I think that it all goes a bit faster if you just make them flat on the pan when they are fried, many deep-fry them, but I chose to fry them in the pan. Pour a lot of oil on the pan and put some blobs of the mixture around the pan and press slightly with a spoon or something. The important thing is that you leave the falafels be on the pan a little time before you begin to move with them, otherwise they will be destroyed. So let them get a little brown on the bottom so that they become more solid, and then you can turn them, it is so important that you're leaving them a bit! but remember to do it with a lot of oil / fat!

Then they are ready, serve in some burger buns, homemade salsa and cremefraiche!
