Delicious cottage cheese and spinach pie!



Then it was time for a nice , quick and easy meat-free pie here on the blog ! I do think that you can easily put in 200g of minced chicken or beef too!




1 pie
Recipe :

Dough:
100 g of wheat flour
100 g whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
6 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of water
1 dl of yogurt

Filling:
1 bag frozen of spinach (450-500 g spinach)
400 g of cottage cheese
½ teaspoon of nutmeg
3 eggs
1½ dl of milk
100 g Emmental cheese
2 medium onions
salt and pepper
a handful of chopped parsley


( possibly also a red bell pepper, think it would make a super flavor !)

Method :
Take the frozen spinach up 12 hours before .

Mix all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl. There is no order in the dry or wet ingredients, you just need to mix it all well! Well you think it is mixed well enough put it in the fridge and rest for 30-45 minutes.

Meanwhile, the rest you can now work on the filling. The spinach must be drained it takes a little time. Get the cottage cheese into a bowl , mix with milk, eggs, nutmeg , parsley, salt and pepper. Stir well until everything is well mixed possibly with a fork because of the eggs.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees C. normal oven or 160 degrees C hot air.

Take the dough from the refrigerator and pour a little flour on the table. Knead the dough slightly and roll out . Take a tart mould or what ever you call it and brush with a little butter and fold the pie dough down into it. Smooth the dough out completely up to the edge all the way around. Spread the spinach on the bottom and then pour the cottage cheese mix over. Grate the 100 g Emmental cheese over it. Get the pie in the oven for 35 minutes and voila. A delicious pie with a crispy crust!

It also tastes great cold !
