Different Delicious Lasagna!



Today I felt like lasagna, but not any lasagna! I wanted a different lasagna. Some time ago I bought some giant pasta tubes which was perfect to the filling. The dish is easy and super delicious!



6-8 people
Recipe :
500 g pasta tubes (large / giant )

The filling:
450g frozen spinach ( squeezed for water / juice )
450 g of cottage cheese
200g of piquant cheese (cream cheese with herbs, onion and red bell pepper)
1 cup of sour cream
1-2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
season with salt and pepper

Meat sauce:
500 g of beef
2 cans of skinned tomatoes (400g x 2)
2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of oregano
1-2 tsp salt

150g grated cheese for the top

Method :
Chop the onions and garlic for both meat sauce and stuffing. Fry them in a pan and remove half of it into a bowl, let the rest stay in the pan. Add the meat into the pan with the onions and fry it. Add the skinned tomatoes and oregano. Season with salt. Let it to simmer.

Cook the pasta. While the pasta is boiling you mix the onions you took from the pan together with the spinach, cottage cheese, cream cheese and the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.

Turn the oven on 170 degrees C hot air or 190 degrees C ordinary oven .

Find a rather large ovenproof baking dish. When the pasta is cooked finished you take a spoon and begins to fill every pasta with the cheese mixture, and then down the lengthwise. Like this:




The photo was taken with my phone. The image is there to show how it should look. When the entire base is filled, then meat sauce on top of it and then topped with grated cheese.

Into the oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese starts to become golden.
